National Empowerment Conference 2026: History Made in Colorado
On August 14–15, 2026, Filipino American leaders, entrepreneurs, public servants, advocates, artists, health professionals, families, and emerging changemakers from across the country gathered at the Hyatt Regency Aurora–Denver Conference Center for NaFFAA’s 16th National Empowerment Conference.
Hosted in partnership with NaFFAA Region V, the conference centered on the theme:
“Harnessing the Power of Community: Starting With Us.”
For two meaningful days, attendees connected across generations and regions through conversations focused on leadership, civic engagement, entrepreneurship, cultural preservation, mental health, community safety, Filipino American history, and the development of our next generation of leaders.
The conference honored NaFFAA’s founders and trailblazers while challenging today’s leaders to turn connection into action. National Chair Mariela Fletcher called upon participants to “Connect. Listen. Act.”—a message that reflected the purpose of the entire gathering.
